  Gears of War is a third-person shooter video game developed by Epic Games. The main focus of the game is a group of military soldiers called the Delta Squad that fight to save the human inhabitants of Sera from a relentless enemy force known as the Locust Horde. The main player assumes the role of Marcus Fenix, a former prisoner and war-hardened soldier. The secondary player usually assumes the role of Dominic Santiago, a long-time comrade of Marcus Fenix and a seasoned war veteran. The game is based on the use of taking cover and strategically firing for the player to advance through the chapters of the game. A second player may also play cooperatively through the main campaign to assist and help the main player in their time of need. It is known that Gears of War 3 will include four player co-op for it’s campaign mode. The game also features several online multiplayer game modes ranging from two to ten players. These game modes include;
